Flight time
Flight time is the most "sore point" for a selfie drone manufacturer. The specification always indicates incorrect information. With the claimed 9-12 minutes, in practice, a selfie drone flies at best no more than 8-10 minutes. This is with the average flight time of a modern drone today - 20 minutes.
Image stabilization
None of the currently available selfie drones have a mechanical suspension and electronics are responsible for image stabilization. The rejection of the suspension significantly affected the quality of the removed material (vibration, jelly).
Not required 4K
Looking through trailers advertising this or that selfie drone, you can see how the manufacturer focuses the attention of a potential buyer on the drone camera's ability to write video in 4K... But, you will only learn that in this shooting mode the electronic stabilization does not work when you read the detailed specification of the product. And if the video recorded by a selfie drone in 1080P mode is not quite "smooth", then in 4K it will seem to you a real "earthquake".
Image quality
The quality of a still photo is much better than that of a video being shot. In general, it is comparable to a cheap and middle class mobile phone. Don't expect sharpness or dynamic range. Well, you can forget about shooting in low light.
Price
The price for any selfie drone is unforgivably exaggerated. Now admit to yourself, are you ready to pay $ 300-600 for a drone with a flight time of 10 minutes and a distance of 20 meters? Even if you forgive the device for the terrible image quality and stabilization. Are you willing to spend so much money on an easy-to-use flying social camera?
