Appearance

Motors

Quadcopter The Eachine Assassin 180 is powered by 1806 2300KV brushless motors. In practice, they have proven themselves from the better side, they reliably cope with the task assigned to them, providing a stable and dynamic flight.

Battery

Eachine Assassin 180 quadcopter comes with a 1000mAh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery. The battery is made in a kind of box, which, on the one hand, makes it easier to change the power supply, on the other hand, it excludes an upgrade with a more powerful battery. Note the presence of light indication of the current state of charge. In practice, the stock battery provided the flight time declared in the specification for 7 minutes and no more.

Controls

Eachine Assassin 180 is equipped with a 6-channel remote control operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Provides a removal distance of up to 400 meters . In practice, it has established itself as noise-immune and stable equipment. Power is supplied from the included four AA Ni-MH 2400mAh rechargeable batteries. The time of continuous work on the stock power supply is about 2 hours.

Flight properties

Subject to preliminary firmware update and PID settings, the Eachine Assassin 180 quadrocopter showed good dynamics in the test in the "Acro" mode. Beginners will appreciate all its advantages, and the presence of FPV goggles in the set will only add adrenaline joy from owning a drone.

As for the glasses themselves, it is worth noting the quality of the displayed image, no further than the golden mean. There is graininess, the picture floats in flight, the batteries are quickly discharged. Suitable only for the first experience, in the future it is better to look for more expensive options. In any case, it is worthwhile to understand that piloting with goggles is always better than controlling through an FPV monitor.

I liked the active LED illumination of the drone, when turning left or right it works as turn signals. I didn’t like that the camera tilt angle is not regulated. Let's attribute this to the disadvantages!

If you decide to buy Eachine Assassin 180 , then immediately buy a set of rotors, practice has shown that the screws included in the kit are very fragile and break even when installed on drone.

Price

The price of Eachine Assassin 180 is $ 209 on various trading floors.

Eachine Assassin 180 - Best value for money and quality for your first racing drone experience. Compact, moderately dynamic after not long settings, and the FPV goggles present in the set will prove reasonably that flying in them cannot be compared with any FPV monitor. But in the future, it will be better to change the budget FPV goggles from the kit to a more expensive and higher quality model.
