On February 21, 2019, DJI Innovations announcedthe second generation of the Matrice 200 series drones

Introduction

The Professional Matrice 200 was presented by DJI InnovationsMobile World Congress

The DJI Matrice 200 drone received the following dimensions: 71.6 × 22 × 23.6 cm, with a weight of only 3.80 kg.

Model range

Matrice 200 is offered in three series:

  1. M200 - with the possibility of hanging one camera with the bottom of the drone
  2. М210 - with the possibility of hanging up to 2 cameras from below and one from above
  3. М210 RTK - RTK (Real Time Kinematics) modules are added, which significantly improve the positioning of the drone with an accuracy of one centimeter.

Appearance

Foldable structure and protection

The M200 has a foldable design for easy transportation, the ingress protection rating is IP43 (protected against the ingress of external solid objects up to 1 mm in diameter and against water in the form of rain, where splashes fall vertically or at an angle of up to 60 ° to vertical).

Sensors

The drone is equipped with more than 20 sensors, some of which duplicate each other in order to increase the reliability and stability of the drone. Equipped with optical vision systems from the front and sides of the drone, as well as from above, in the form of an infrared sensor to facilitate flights under bridges or complex structures.

Power supply

Received two batteries operating in series and providing flight duration up to 38 minutes depending on payload and battery type (6S 4280mAh and optional 7760mAh will be offered LiPo).

Cameras

On the front of the drone is a FPV FPV cameraZenmuse X4S and X5S, a thermal imaging camera Zenmuse XT2 developed by FLIR and a camera Zenmuse Z30

Advanced Features

  • All series have received DJI AirSense, which works on ADS-B transceivers. This transponder signal receiving system provides the exchange of information (current coordinates, flight speed, altitude, etc.) in real time with both air traffic control systems and other aircraft.
  • The M200 is compatible with the DJI GO 4 / DJI Pilot / DJI GS GO apps. DJI Pilot, in turn, can work with DJI FlightHub (the function of exchanging data through cloud technologies from DJI) - it allows you to provide general access (for personnel or control centers, etc.) in real time to various types of information received from the UAV. Allows everyone to see the video transmission from drone cameras where the drone is located, monitor its condition, track the direction of flight, make flight adjustments and control cameras on board.
  • Real-time video streaming from drone cameras is carried out in FHD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at a distance of up to 7 km via the Lightbridge 2 video link.

Price

All three DJI Matrice 200 series are available to order from the manufacturer's website. There are no prices as current ones, since each solution is individual and is prepared based on the client's preferences.
