Appearance
Hybrid camera
Is a key component in the main package of improvements to the commercial version of the portable drone. The developer has equipped the M2EA with a new, even more efficient hybrid camera built on a tandem of two sensors for simultaneous high-resolution thermal and visual shooting.
Thermal imaging
A built-in high-resolution thermal matrix supporting point and volumetric temperature measurement methods will allow corporate users to quickly determine the current state of objects and make informed decisions on the spot based on the data received. In the arsenal of the thermal chamber: max. Resolution: 640 × 512 @ 30Hz; temperature measurement accuracy ± 2 ° C; 16x digital zoom.
Visual shooting
The visual camera has received no less powerful potential that allows you to seriously expand the efficiency of the drone. Unlike the predecessor,
The developer notes that 4x lossless zoom is available only for FHD mode.
Visualization modes
To ensure maximum efficiency, the operator can display the received video picture on the main screen of the control equipment in three modes: Thermal / Visual / Thermal Visual...
RTK module
To achieve the most accurate positioning, the M2EA system can be retrofitted with an RTK module. RTK Tandem will allow enterprise users to create up to 240 waypoints for autonomous detailed inspections, regardless of the complexity of the environment.
The RTK module is not included in the standard payload kit and must be purchased separately.
OcuSync 2.0
The second generation of digital video transmission technology OcuSync allows switching between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies based on the channel load. Provides a more interference-resistant connection, FPV distance up to 10km, video stream quality up to 1080p, download speed 40Mbps and better latency up to 120ms.
DJI Smart Controller
Another no less important innovation has come to the commercial series of Enterprise drones
Max. flexible operation
Lightweight and portable, the M2EA can be lifted into the air in less than a minute. To achieve maximum efficiency during flight missions, the developer increased the ascent and descent speed.
Power supply
Power supply for the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced remains unchanged from the predecessors in the
Heating
Traditionally, for the commercial series of drones, the power has received a self-heating function. It can be activated both automatically and manually when the ambient temperature is in the range from -10 ° C to 6 ° C, and the current battery charge level is above 50%. To activate the self-heating function of a switched off battery, press and hold the battery power button for 5 seconds. If the battery is installed in the drone and turned on, the function is automatically activated.
Payload
Based on the possible applications of the drone, the developer standardly equips the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced with three payload options:
- M2E Spotlight
- M2E Speaker
- M2E Beacon
RTK module is not included in the standard payload kit and must be purchased separately.
* Mounting location for a payload interfaced to the drone via a micro USB port and two mounting screws.
DJI AirSense
DJI AirSense is a technology that provides an additional level of safety when piloting in crowded airspace, or in close proximity to the implementation of complex missions, such as suppressing fires, eliminating the consequences of a disaster, monitoring infrastructures. At the heart of the AirSense system is a built-in receiver that allows, via ADS-B signals *, to receive real-time alerts from nearby aircraft about their current position. All received data is reflected on the built-in display of the control equipment via the DJI Pilot mobile app.
* ADS-B (Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) or ADS-B (automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) is a technology that allows both pilots in the cockpit and air traffic controllers to observe movement of aircraft with greater accuracy than was previously available, as well as receive aeronautical data.
APAS
APAS (Advanced Pilot Assistance System) - the result of extensive research DJI
Password protection
The “Password protection” function allows you to exclude unauthorized access to the drone and the built-in storage with a capacity of 24GB. When the function is active, password authentication will be performed every time the drone is activated, the control equipment is paired with the drone, as well as when the data of the built-in storage is accessed via a PC. All data remains protected even if the drone is physically damaged.
In addition, M2EA users with high data protection requirements can use DJI Local Data Mode. Activating the mode stops any data exchange between the paired mobile device and the Internet, thereby providing additional security guarantees for operators associated with critical infrastructure, government projects, or other more complex tasks.
GPS timestamping
GPS timestamping is a function that fixes the time, date and location of each recorded image (GPS coordinates), thereby guaranteeing the independent reliability of the received data that can later be used in legal proceedings.
Discreet Mode
Invisible mode disables all aircraft side illumination for missions requiring inconspicuous movement, especially at night.
DJI Pilot
A time-tested mobile application designed specifically for corporate users to maximize the manufacturer's potential for a commercial drone. By default, it is preset in the DJI Smart Controllercontrol equipment software .
Mobile SDK
Enterprise users can unleash the full potential of the drone with a wide range of third-party mobile applications and thus find solutions for special tasks. The Mobile SDK enables personalized mobile app development for the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced drone.
Pricing and Availability
