Supported functions

Headless mode

This mode has been introduced by the developers exclusively for beginners. It turns off the orientation of the drone in space. When activated, the MJX X600 does not care which side it is to the pilot, thereby making it easier for the user to get to know the UAV for the first time.

For example, when starting the X600 it is always set back to the pilot and when he takes off, if you move the stick to the left, the drone will fly to the left, move the stick to the right, it will fly to the right. But, as soon as the X600 turns around its axis by 360º, everything changes places for the pilot. So, the "Headless mode" mode turns off these problems in orientation and the movement of the hexacopter will completely depend on where you move the control stick.

In the future, it will be better to abandon the use of Headless mode and practice orientation flights, since in advanced UAV models from a more expensive segment, to which the user will sooner or later come, the presence of a headless mode is excluded... ​​

Return to hardware

ONE KEY RETURN - this the function is active only in "Headless mode". If the pilot has lost sight of his drone for some reason, then don't worry too much. By pressing the button on the remote under the left index finger, the hex obediently returns back to the equipment. The pilot only participates in altitude control, since the encounter of the hexacopter with obstacles is not excluded. In order to disable this function, you need to move the right stick to one of the sides and then the drone will go into manual control.

If the MJX X600 flies too far and loses signal, it will not crash. In this case, it will make an automatic smooth landing at the point of signal loss. (it is worth considering the direction of the wind, because if it sits down, then it is no longer vertically down, but taking into account its direction).

3D Flips

This function is active at maximum flow rate (PRO). Allows the X600 to masterfully perform flips.

Motors

The MJX X600 hexacopter is equipped with collector motors that transmit torque through a pinion. In the "PRO" mode, there is enough potential in abundance. I am ready to carry on board a good HD camera (Mobius MINI or Firefly Q6) without noticeable loss in handling.

Drive shafts do not sit on bearings, but on bushings, this fact significantly reduces the resource of the motors themselves. At the same time, about we note that a soldering iron is not required to replace the motors. Let's take this to the pluses.

Camera

Today MJX X600 is officially equipped with two types of cameras C4016 / C4018... The quality of the shooting is below average for both. In addition to video recording and photos, they broadcast a video stream via Wi-Fi to a smartphone (IOS / Android) paired with the camera.

Battery
